City celebrates Independence Day with food, fun, fireworks
This year's festivities include a vintage car show, a performance by the Loveland Concert Band, and a 30-minute fireworks display with an almost 500-shot grand finale.

Scheduled air service returns to Loveland
Nonstop air service connecting Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport with Chicago-Rockford Airport will begin as soon as Aug. 1 under terms of a service agreement with Elite Airways.

Fatal shooting in Loveland under investigation
At approximately 10:50 p.m. on June 3, Loveland police responded to a report of a man lying on the sidewalk, bleeding. Loveland police and the task force that's investigating recent shootings in northern Colorado are working to determine if this case may be linked to two other random shootings.

Loveland again under threat of severe weather
Large-diameter hail is possible as well as more heavy rain. The Tornado Watch and Flood Warning are now expired. A tornado that touched down south of Berthoud damaged a number of structures earlier this evening.

Madison bridge opening delayed due to weather woes
A week of consecutive rainy days has put a damper on reopening the Madison Avenue bridge between Eighth Street and Eisenhower Boulevard. City staff are hoping the bridge will open around the end of the month.

Loveland Water and Power will decrease the fluoride level in City of Loveland drinking water from 0.9mg/L to 0.7mg/L following a new recommendation from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
