The Legislative Policy Agenda Brochure helps underscore the impacts of pending legislation to Loveland, Council’s areas of interest, and it provides a tool for both Council and staff to respond to inquiries. Through the use of a brochure, Council’s viewpoints on broad areas of legislation are identified, allowing the Loveland City Council to speak with a unified voice.

The Legislative Review Committee includes members of City Staff along with three City Councilors. The Legislative Policy Agenda allows City Council, the City Manager and staff to respond promptly, carefully, and appropriately to legislative positions indicated within Council’s Legislative Policy, as well as other legislative items or actions that may adversely impact the interests of the City and its citizens as they arise.
