Background
Madison Avenue is a critical corridor central to the City’s overall transportation system identified for design & improvements in the 2035 Transportation Master Plan.
The recent completion of E. 37th Street and a bridge across Dry Creek links Madison Avenue and Taft Avenue with access to US Highway 287. Existing conditions range from a standard, 4-lane section to a narrow 2-lane rural section lacking bike lanes and sidewalks.
