Dear Maria,

Hello! I was inquiring about the status of the trail from Namaqua Rd. to Rossum Dr. I understand per a press release that this portion was supposed to open in Dec. 2017. I haven't had a chance to get over that way since the fall, and it was only open to where the trail jogs north to 34. I was curious if that western portion has opened, and if not, when it was expected to open.

Hi Nick, 

This section of trail running west to Rossum Drive has been constructed but is not officially open since the contractor has not completed their final grading and seeding due to winter conditions. We anticipate the trail corridor will be open by late March, but the City will issue a press release announcing the opening when the contractor has completed the final portions.
