The Chilson Recreation Center has two INDOOR pools, a steam room, an indoor and outdoor hot tub, and a variety of aquatics programs for you and the whole family! ADA accessible chair lift and steps are available in pool area.

 

Water temperatures: lap pool 82-83 degrees, leisure pool 85-86 degrees, outdoor hot tub is 102-104 degrees and indoor tub is 98-100 degrees.

Lap pool at Chilson Recreation Center is an 8 lane, 25 yard pool, available for lap swimming, water walking and water fitness classes. 

Monday-Friday 5:30A-8:30P

Saturday 6A-5:30P

Sunday 11A-5:30P

  • Lap Lanes 1-3 are available by appointment. 

 Make a reservation.     Day of reservations are no longer available. Please make a reservation up to 3 days in advance.

  • Lap Lanes 4 -8 are first come, first serve. 
  • Lap Lanes 7 & 8 are not divided with lane lines.

Please anticipate limited space availability during time frames listed for Aqua Fitness classes and Swim Lessons. Please see the Fitness Schedule for a detailed schedule of Aqua Fitness classes. Swim lessons (M/T/Th 5-7:30pm, and Sat 9-12pm) the shallow area and lanes 7&8 may be limited during these times.

Indoor Pool Rules

Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied into the water by an individual 16 years of age or older, and stay within arms' reach of the child at all times.

Children ages 6-7 must be directly supervised and watched closely on the deck by an individual 16 years of age or older.

Youth under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the steam room or outdoor hot tub area.

Please limit the use of flotation devices in all bodies of water to water wings or small inner tubes (tubes for Lazy River are provided but not permitted in the vortex of leisure pool).

Appropriate swim attire is required; no street clothes.

You may see posters on display near the pool from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) encouraging proper cleanliness at the pool. We take this very seriously!
