Lending a "helping hand" to your neighbors in need has become more important than ever. The HAND Program helps keep City water and electric services turned on for people in need who face a loss of utility service due to an unpaid City utility bill. People across the income spectrum are affected by the economy. A job loss or an unforeseen expense creates a crisis situation.

Donations from community members and from Loveland Water and Power fund the HAND Program. The House of Neighborly Services (HNS) administers the program. The Utility Billing Office refers customers to the HNS, which issues a voucher for utility bill payment to qualified applicants. Since 1995, the HAND Program has had a positive impact on the lives of many families in our community.

Extend your helping hand. You may make a one-time contribution or set up a recurring contribution on your utility bill. To make a one-time contribution, write a check to the City of Loveland HAND Program and mail it with your utility bill to: City of Loveland, Utility Billing Office, 500 E. 3rd Street, Suite 100, Loveland, CO 80537. If you want to contribute on a monthly basis, you may submit a pledge form on the My Account portal by clicking on 'Forms'.
