May 21 – FREE Concert Featuring FACE Vocal Band and Grammy Award Winner Marc Cohn 4 PM

Marc Cohn is an American folk rock singer-songwriter and musician. He won the Grammy Award for best new artist in 1992. Cohn is best known for his song, “Walking in Memphis” from his 1991 album. The song, which was a Top 40 hit, has been described as an “iconic part of the Great American Songbook”.

 Centennial Celebration event details

The Centennial Celebration on Saturday, May 21, initially slated for outdoors on 4th Street, will now happen inside on the historic Rialto stage. As the Rialto Theater only holds 450 people, we will have tables outside the theater handing out free tickets starting at 4 pm on Saturday. Due to demand being greater than supply, we will limit tickets to one per person. You must be physically present to receive a ticket for entrance to the concert.

The Rialto will open doors to the lobby at 4 pm, with doors to the theater opening at 5:30 pm. The festivities will kick off at 7 pm with FACE Vocal Band starting at 7:30 pm, followed by Grammy Winner Marc Cohn at 8:15 pm. The Rialto Bridge Bar and concessions will be open for the duration of the event.

4th Street opens at 4 pm and will remain open until 10 pm after the conclusion of the music. Again, enjoy an assortment of food trucks, beer vendors, and multiple fire pits to keep you warm. Our large HD video wall and speaker system will allow you to enjoy the entire concert from the Street if you cannot get a ticket inside the venue.

We hope you will join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event honoring the historic Rialto Theater!
