The City’s Public Works Department, Solid Waste Division offers residents the opportunity to completely shred sensitive, confidential documents, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, September 25 at The Forge campus (previously HP and The Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation), located at 815 14th Street Southwest in the northeast parking lot. Please enter from the eastside off of Barboura Drive.
Residents with a current, 2021 Yard Debris Permit may shred documents free of charge. Please wear a mask and have your Yard Debris Permit ready when you arrive. The cost to residents without a yard debris permit and county residents wishing to participate is $5.00.
All shredded paper will be recycled. Residents are asked to please limit quantities to three bags or boxes per household.
As a reminder, those who have shredders at home may bring shredded paper to the Recycling Center any time of year.
