"The Case of the Cracked Eggshell"
Join the Open Lands & Trails team for a semi-guided Critter Scene Investigation. Visit volunteer-staffed stations along the trail to gather evidence and solve the critter mystery.
Scene: Distraught bird reporting (tweets and cheeps); an empty nest in a tree, on a lower hanging branch, looks like it was bumped loose, cracked eggshells below, no clear tracks, no fur, feathers, or scat at the scene. Time of discovery – just after dawn. Possible Suspects: Duck, Snake, Deer, Raccoon, Skunk and Cowbird. Your job is to examine the evidence, and catch the critter responsible.
Free! All ages welcome. COVID-compliant - masks and social distancing required.
