The City of Loveland is hosting a public open house to solicit feedback on a draft management plan developed for the East Big Thompson River Natural Area. The 275-acre natural area consists of river frontage, upland agriculture, prairie, wetlands and ponds along the north side of the river between Boyd Lake Ave and I-25.
Exhibits available at the open house will present site information including existing resources, habitats, opportunities and constraints. Public input will be solicited via verbal and written comments and staff will be available to answer questions. The site information also will be posted online following the open house meeting, and the public will be able to submit comments via email.
Social distancing will be implemented. Masks requested.
The City of Loveland, Larimer County, and Colorado Open Lands have conserved these properties over the past 20 years and would like to hear your thoughts! For more information about the project, including links to the concept plans (to be posted after the public meeting), visit the East Big Thompson Natural Area web page.
