Meet and learn from local urban homesteaders, including Sarah Salier who recently had her book A Thrifty Good Life, Reflection on My Unexpected Journey Toward Homegrown Simplicity and Healing published. Sarah was named Mother Earth New’s Homesteader of the Year in 2014 and again featured in the January 2017 issue with Farming the Neighborhood.

2 - 4pm Petting zoo with chickens & rabbits, plus information on the 4-H Club.
5 - 6pm Brief author talk by Sarah Sailer, followed by a panel that will address need-to know topics for new & experienced urban homesteaders neighbors, ask questions and learn how to make this years growing season a successful one!
6 - 7pm Resource booths, plus Sarah will be answering questions, selling and signing her book.
