Did you know that for every dollar spent on quality school-aged programs,
taxpayers save $3, in terms of lower crime costs, reduced need for
welfare, etc.? The Early Childhood Council (ECCLC) is working to promote
quality after school programming. To impact quality, we are excited to
sponsor the 9th annual After School Zone Conference. We are pleased to offer a variety of workshops (including topics such as Gardening With Children, Science, Math and Positive Behavior Support) to choose from as well as fun and enlightening keynote presentations. Group Publishing will provide a professional yet relaxing and comfortable environment with a delicious breakfast and lunch. Appropriate and meaningful door prizes will be awarded at each workshop to help participants take the ideas they have learned back to their programs, and there will be drawings for more general door prizes to help participants feel special and valued!
To learn more details about the After School Zone Conference and/or to register please call the Judy Seybold at 970.377.3388, x223 or go to http://www.ecclc.org. The registration deadline is Nov. 2nd.
ECCLC is proud to be one of the few Early Childhood Councils in the state of Colorado to carry on such important work with school-aged child care providers, and in turn to significantly impact the lives of children aged 5 – 11 years.
