Event Description: United Way of Larimer County’s Volunteer Center is recruiting skilled, interested and available volunteers for the Board Bank program. The Volunteer Center recruits and trains community professionals to become valuable board members, and assists in matching volunteers with the needs of local non-profit organizations. Topics include, but are not limited to: leadership roles, responsibilities, planning, evaluation, fundraising, and finances. Cost: $25 cost includes a class on the expectations and general policies of serving on a Board of Directors, allows the volunteer to learn about possible nonprofits to be paired with, and each volunteer gets a book on the responsibilities of a board member.
