The City of Loveland has grant funds available to organizations that serve Loveland citizens with low income. City grant funds totaling approximately $490,000 for human services will be available to non-profit agencies that provide services such as food, shelter, case management and child care to persons with lower incomes in Loveland. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds totaling approximately $190,000 will be granted for bricks and mortar projects addressing housing, homelessness, and public facilities. Organizations interested in applying for these grant funds must submit a Pre-application form by February 3, 2012. Forms and instructions can be found online at www.cityofloveland.org/grantforms.
The Human Services Commission will hold two public meetings to provide information on the 2012 Human Services Grant process in the City Council Chambers, 500 E Third Street on December 7th at 2:30pm and January11th at 10:30am.
