The Loveland Fire and Rescue Department invites area residents to attend an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, July 9th. This event will be held at the Loveland Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, located at 213 E. 29th St., from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Proceeds from this fundraiser event will go to the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado for the purchase of fire and life safety educational materials and equipment, such as safety activity books, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide alarms to be distributed in our local community. A fire engine will be on display for tours and demonstrations, and free safety education materials will be available for children and adults.
Tickets are $7 per person, which includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk, and apple juice. Participants can pay cash at the door on the day of the event, or tickets can be obtained in advance from the Loveland Fire and Rescue Department’s Community Safety Division, at 410 E. 5th St.
“Many of our community residents depend upon our educational services and equipment to help ensure the safety of their home and family,” said Deputy Fire Marshal Scott Pringle. “The proceeds from this event will help to ensure that we can continue to make those resources available to anyone in need. Support from our community to maintain these programs is greatly appreciated.”
Pringle reminds residents to install and maintain smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and to plan and practice a home escape plan with all of the members of your household.
