Senior Law Day is a seminar, sponsored by the Bar Association, for everyone (particularly baby boomers and their parents) on topics such as social security, medicare, how to spot fraud, medicaid, estate planning, Veterans Pension benefits, family law, caregiver responsibilities, advance medical directives, reverse mortgages, etc. The two locations cover different subjects. A free Senior Law Day Handbook will be provided. There are two Northern Colorado locations this year:
Larimer County Senior Law Day is Saturday, August 13 at CSU Lory Student Center from 8 AM to 3:15. Cost is $10. To register and get all the information, log on to www.eldercarenet.org and choose the senior law day icon.
Boulder County Senior Law Day is also on Satuday, August 13, from 8AM to 1PM. The cost is free. 7:15 is a free continental breakfast and registration. It will be held in Longmont at the Plaza Hotel Conference Center, 1850 Industrial Circle, Longmont (formerly Radisson Conference Center).
