Survivor Day, also known as International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, is a day designated by the United States Congress for those affected by suicide to join together for healing and support. It takes place each year on the Saturday before American Thanksgiving, with events in communities everywhere. The holidays are often a difficult time for suicide loss survivors, which is why Survivor Day is held on this day.
Please come to find connection, create a craft to honor your loved one, watch a movie about hope after suicide loss, attend a survivor facilitation group, and participate in a candle lighting ceremony.
Light snacks will be provided.
This event is for ages 16+.
Space is limited. Registration required.
