Join us for a free paint recycling and shred event at the Forge Campus. Bring your unused paint cans and old documents to securely and safely dispose both items at once. Don't miss out on this chance to make a positive impact and enjoy a day of community involvement.
Location: Parking lot in the northeast corner of The Forge campus.
Public Access:
- Turn onto S. Colorado Avenue from 14th Street SW and drive north, one block, to the intersection of S. Colorado Avenue and Barboura Drive. Then, turn left/west onto the parking lot access drive, as indicated by event road signs.
- Access to this same intersection may also be found via westbound Barboura Drive from S. Roosevelt Avenue. Once in the parking lot, drivers will be directed by signage and event staff. Traffic will exit via the same route.

Paint Event
Acceptable Items Include:
- Paint in its original, non-leaking, labeled container
- Oil-based, acrylic, and latex paints
- Stains, shellacs, lacquers, sealers, varnishes and urethanes
- Containers from sample sizes up to five-gallon containers
Items Not Accepted:
- Spray paint, paint thinners, and solvents
- Cleaning agents, adhesives, and other hazardous wastes

Shred Event
Details:
- This is a free event for Loveland residents. You do not need a Yard Waste permit to attend this event.
- Guests will be limited to dropping off five bags/boxes.
- Bags must not exceed 13-gallon standard kitchen size.
- Boxes must be banker box size or comparable, not to exceed 18 inches.
- All documents shredded during the event will be recycled.
- Anyone who has a home shredder may bring shredded paper to the Recycling Center any time of year.
