The City of Loveland Parks & Recreation Department – Open Lands and Trails Division is planning for trail development and public access for the city-owned Skyline Natural Area. The Skyline Natural Area is located east of the Devil's Backbone Open Space and is home to the Namaqua Star. See the location map below!
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 17th from 5:30-7:00 pm. The event will be hosted at Mehaffey Park Shelter A. This shelter is most easily accessed from the south park entrance at 3285 W. 22nd St.
The meeting will include several stations highlighting areas of the Skyline Natural Area management plan adopted in 2022. Staff experts on each informational category will be available so that attendees may ask detailed questions.

- Trail Use Options, Alignment and Viewsheds
- Operations, Security, Maintenance
- Resource Management
- Fire Management and Wildfire Safety
- Funding
