The City of Loveland and Loveland Downtown Development Authority are hosting an open house for the Fourth Street portion of the Heart Improvement Program, also known as HIP Streets, from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Desk Chair Workspace, 201 E. 4th St. Attendees will have an opportunity to review streetscape concepts, ask questions, and provide feedback to project managers before designs are finalized.
The Fourth Street portion of the HIP Streets project focuses on streetscape improvements along the five blocks between Washington and Garfield Avenues.
The HIP Streets Fourth Street project combines streetscape improvements into the overall construction plan to minimize construction impacts and business disruptions while the City of Loveland addresses aging underground water and stormwater infrastructure, deteriorating street conditions, and required ADA improvements that necessitate road construction.
