Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Lagoon Concert on July 20th will be moved indoors to the Rialto Theater. Doors open at 6 PM; first come - first serve. Pets and outside food/drink are not permitted in the theater.
Concert Line-Up:
July 6th - After Midnight (Swing) - After Midnight plays a hard driving swing that is incredibly difficult to play, but they make it look and sound effortless. Their repertoire includes classic work by Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett as well great swing music recently made popular by the likes of Dianna Krall, Michael Bublé, and Harry Connick Jr.
July 13th - Potcheen (Pirate Celtic) - The Irish moonshine known as potcheen (pronounced Po-CHEEN) is being smuggled into The Lagoon by a band of pirates hailed by the same name. Long celebrated as one of Colorado’s best Celtic music bands, they play a mix of pub standards infused with a bit of bluegrass, ska, punk and folk delivered with a pirate swagger.
July 20th - Ricardo Pena y Los Behemios (Salsa) - Spanish guitars, acoustic bass and Latin percussion create danceable salsa rhythms in the style of Buena Vista Social Club or Gloria Estefan, and romantic ballads in the style of Los Panchos. Bring your blankets, but don’t expect to stay seated when the rhythm starts to move you.
July 27th - Groove A Licious: Mile High Mountain Funk (Funk & Soul) - Driving deep pocket grooves, killer harmonies, accompanied with one of the most stellar brass sections on the scene. Grab on and get down with the high-altitude, funky beats of Groove a Licious, delivering all the ingredients for a booty shakin’ party celebration.
