Trail Host Volunteer Training "Classroom Session"

This training begins your certification to volunteer as a Trail Host, to be the "eyes and ears" of Loveland Open Lands & Trails, gathering data, noting maintenance needs, and interacting with the public at city natural areas. No experience necessary, all training and materials are provided FREE.

First 30 min. of training will be informational: what trail hosts do, time commitments, locations for hosting, scheduling, and a training overview. Based on this information, those interested in trail hosting may stay for the remainder of the training session. Background check required to host. After training, actual hosting times and sites are at the discretion of the trail host.

Note that both Friday evening and Saturday morning sessions are required to complete training.
