Black Tie Bowling

Benefitting CASA of Larimer County & Canyon Concert Dance Center

Come join the fun while bowling with friends and raising needed funds for two great non-profit organizations serving children and families in our Northern Colorado community. This formally dressed but casual event provides a relaxing, yet upscale atmosphere which entertains all as we bowl our way to an enjoyable evening. The backdrop of evening wear mingled with bowling shoes will bring a smile to everyone.

Come experience this amazing event for two worthy causes. Event details include:
•Scotch doubles bowling (fancy for just take turns) and prizes.
•Fine cuisine, drinks and silent auction for everyone and those not wishing to bowl.
•Live musical entertainment provided by the dynamic lyrical rock duo The Key of Joy.
•$40 per non-bowler, $60 per bowler, or $200 for 4-person teams.

This event raises funds for both CASA of Larimer County and Canyon Concert Ballet and Dance Studio.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers work with children who are in out of home placement while the Court works to determine their best permanent home placement. CASAs talk with family members, medical professionals, teachers, therapists and the child in order to provide the Court with a clear, current picture of the child’s situation. It is not uncommon for CASA’s children to be moved to 2, 3, 4 or more foster homes and often also change caseworkers and schools. The CASA volunteer provides stability and companionship over the length of their case, usually 12 -18 months.
CASA of Larimer County’s Harmony House Visitation Centers in Fort Collins and Loveland are busy old homes that provide a safe homelike setting for children to visit parents and family while ensuring they are safe from the trauma that first brought them to us. These connections are vital to the well-being of the child and parent. Safe custody exchanges are also provided at the Harmony Houses which protects the children from their parents’ conflicts.
