Oil and Gas Regulations Town Hall

The City of Loveland is in the process of reviewing and updating its oil and gas regulations, and City Council directed staff to gather public input that will be used to develop a draft ordinance for City of Loveland Oil and Gas regulations.

The goal of the March 27 Oil and Gas Town Hall is to collect feedback that will inform updated regulations for City Council’s consideration. The Oil and Gas Town Hall will include the following: 

  • A staff presentation about the city’s role in oil and gas
  • Geological factors impacting development and current activity
  • Current regulations and proposed updates to City regulations

After the meeting, participants will have an opportunity to provide feedback. The online public comment period will remain open for 60 Days and an additional Oil and Gas Town Hall will be held in late April or early May.
