Stenciled Monotype Process

Led by artist, Tony Ortega, learn how to give prints a new look with stencils. Stencils can be used to block out some areas of an original plate or highlight another area, creating new effects and dimensions. If you have an old plate or two, bring them and see how stencils can change the final product. If you don’t have a previous print plate to use, come learn how to monoprint with stencils. One final print from each student will be eligible to be displayed in the Museum’s print exhibit from March – May. Also, we will have time for a lunch break during the workshop.
